Presented as part of international project

Choreographer A. Šeiko created a performance
inspired by the elements of contemporary dance
and ballet. J. Sakalauskase’s music is compiled
from various layers: different electronics (ambient,
experimental, trip-hop), music from Romantic
époque, weaved with special effects, ritual
music, sounds of office, various other noises and
song insertions. Main actor is a philosopher as
well as dancer; chorus-singers are at the same
time also dancers. The creators were inspired by
a book of French philosopher Jean Baudrillard
“Simulacra and Simulation” and Rodrigue Pla‘s
movie „Inner Desert“ (Mexico, 2008).

which has counted up several millions of
households, housewives, husbands, children
and poodles, and he loves all of them. Erik is
his young and ambitious colleague for whom
this all are merely dry figures. Their amusing
and moving stories are enjoyed by spectators
of United Euroasia on their small screens in the
most lengthy, expensive and idiotic television
serial of all times.
What all this has to do with the aspiring poet
Jožka Lipnik and his spiritual leader, celebrated
German writer Hermann Schlechtfreund?

all around the world. Theatre of “living objects”

In this new piece the Handa Gote group continues
to work with “little histories”, this time
turning to one of its own member’s personal
archives.
Veronika Švábová sifts through the history of
her family, seeking both the fateful moments
and seeming trivialities that have survived in
relatives’ memories to this day, that are the
fabric of family community. Clouds is a subjective
study of one’s own family, a series of
scenes without causal association, not unlike
those fragments of past events that make up
our own memories.

roar of the engines is breaking their calm and
the freezing loneliness is destroying the last
flashes of sanity.
