TANZWERKE VANEK PREUSS: IMPOSSIBLE FLIGHT
“Impossible Flight” is the second part in the trilogy Escape into the 21st Century—a dance in a global centrifuge. It is a study of mechanisms of becoming insensitive and indifferent, responding to the Stockholm syndrome increasingly gaining ground globally. This condition generates feelings of helplessness and apathy as a reaction to too complicated political and economic processes. It leads the Western civilization to implementing internal escape tendencies and desires through virtual and other technologies, and doing so to validate the current status quo.
